The components of the CAT qualification is composed of both academic and professional. The academic component is achieved by the students by passing all their exams. The professional component is achieved when the student gains atleast one year of relevant work experience. Only when both components are acquired will then the student be qualified to graduate as a Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) member of NIAT.
