CAT® Overview

 What is CAT®?

Representing more than 30,000 accounting professionals in the Philippines, the NIAT takes pride in its Certified Accounting Technician (CAT®) program prepares accounting graduates and professionals by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills needed in real life work environment.

Regarded as CFOs in-the-making, today’s accounting technician must be able to demonstrate competence and face all the challenges arising in his field, all of which the CAT® program can provide him. In all three levels of the program, the participants undergo intensive training and examinations, making their profession the foundation of every accounting process.  

 

The CAT® Subjects

The CAT programme comprises a total of nine (9) subjects, divided into First Part and Second part. The subjects are as follows:
